We will agree with you a location for safe tool storage whilst working, together with a suitable disposal method for any waste materials. As you would expect, protective sheets are used to keep your home as clean as possible and a thorough clean-up is done at the end of each day.
Correct preparation
The background must be identified and prepared accordingly. Is it secure, in good condition and flat enough to tile upon? Is any making good required? The various types of plaster, screed and board surfaces all require different consideration before tiling can commence.
Correct selection of fixing materials
There are many types of adhesive available. Whether it be standard, flexible, polymer modified or deformable, you can be sure that we will select the most appropriate materials from leading adhesive manufacturers to suit the type of tile, substrate and conditions of use.
Correct selection of tools
The correct trowel selection is dependant on a variety of factors including type and size of tile, substrate and conditions of use. For example, a tile measuring more than 300mm x 300mm is classed as a large format tile and therefore needs a different trowel to that required for a smaller tile. This is to ensure adequate adhesive coverage is achieved. Similarly, tiling carried out in a wet location such as around a bath or shower will require a different trowel to that needed for a dry location.
